Access Arrangements

Access Arrangements allow candidates with special educational needs, disabilities or temporary injuries to access the assessment fairly and without changing the demands of the assessment.

Please advise us at the time of application of any access arrangements that are required. We aim to accommodate all exam concessions, but may not be able to facilitate some of them. Initial requests must be made on our application form. Each application will be reviewed carefully to ensure that we are able to provide for an applicant's needs. 

You must be able to provide complete and comprehensive documentary evidence for the arrangements required.  Acceptance of your application will be conditional on your supporting evidence being complete, and assessed to be sufficient for the Exam Boards by our Learning Support Department. Please be aware that the Exam Boards have stringent regulations relating to exam concessions and we cannot just rely on the fact that arrangements have been granted by a previous centre. 

Please note that, due to staffing and space limitations, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate one-to-one invigilation, or those candidates requiring more than 25% extra time. We do not provide home invigilation for external candidates.

The application deadline for access arrangements is 9am on Monday 16th November 2026.
