External Candidates
Registrations for Summer 2025 are now open. Please note that we do not run exams in the November series.
We are able to accept a limited number of applications from private candidates to sit A Levels, A/S Levels and GCSEs in the Summer exam series only. We will not accept candidates younger that the equivalent of Y10 of the National Curriculum.
We can offer most subjects that do not have a coursework, oral or practical assessment element. Consequently, we are only able to offer modern languages where there is no oral component. We can, however, usually accept applications where a non-exam assessment or other coursework component is able to be carried forward from a previous exam series. Please indicate this on your application form.
Most exam concessions and access arrangements can be facilitated, but each application will be looked at individually to ensure that the applicants' needs can be met properly on the relevant exam days. Unfortunately, due to space and staffing constraints, we are unable to accommodate candidates requiring one-to-one invigilation. Candidates with exam concessions are looked at on a case by case basis as we need to be able to provide adequate facilities.
