· Charlie Thompson was inaugurated as the new Student Council Chairman
· BJO'K is on sabbatical, and is being kindly replaced by AGW
· There will be three scheduled meetings this term
· Robert Habib was appointed temporary Secretary, and will write the minutes for the next few weeks
· Meetings will remain on Mondays, but might be arranged slightly later, to allow the Council to eat lunch first
Minutes: These will be distributed by email each meeting, and Council members are encouraged to read them through before meetings. Hopefully the minutes will continue to be put up on the intranet. There was discussion about school's access to the minutes, suggesting that they should also be put up in the U8th Common Room, and perhaps in the Atrium.
Long-term plans: The Council intends to reviews its long-term aims.
Music Rooms: Complaints have been made that music teachers store their instruments in music rooms, and then lock them, rendering music rooms impossible for Paulines eager to practise in. Charlie Fink will talk to Mr Tatlow about this.
Sports: Yet again, the Council heard prayers for an American Football games half. Charlie Thompson will talk to Mr Taylor about this matter.
Assemblies: The Council appreciates the High Master's attempts to improve the whole school assembly. We feel they provide a community spirit, and we encourage further integration of all aspects of school life. We suggest that displays of the finest Pauline art should be put up.
Bangers 'n' Mash: Ben Turner relentlessly continues to demand more 'bangers 'n' mash' for school lunches. We can only advise him to seek the guidance of the Catering Committee, but we are prepared to support his cause.
