- Apposition
· After reading the minuted views expressed by the Council about the proposed changes to Apposition, Mr Woodruff asked that ACPO discuss the proposals with the Council. This will happen on 06/03/06.
· The Council felt that there was no need for the whole of ACPO to attend. The meeting would be less unwieldy and more productive if ACPO simply sent a representative (PW, perhaps) to talk to the Council about their ideas and to listen to the Council's views
· To ensure the discussion is as useful as possible, the Council requested to see more material outlining the reasoning behind ACPO's proposals.
- Highmaster
· The Highmaster will come to the Council on 13/03/06 to discuss any concerns or requests it may raise.
-
- Compulsory rugby for all 4th Formers
- The Council itself briefly discussed the issue of 4th Form Rugby, a subject which will be continued in coming weeks.
- Stationery
· - Concerns were raised about the low quality of the ring binders the school issues
· A request was made that pads of paper be issued as often as ring binders. However, it was then be pointed out that they would simply have to be paid for by school fees.
- Food
· The council approved of improvements to post-match lunches.
· Concerns were raised that the school has gradually, surreptitiously, and perhaps even subliminally, stopped providing salt cellars at Friday lunchtimes.
· Action (if these suspicions are confirmed on Friday) - Barr
