Student Council Minutes - 11/12/06
Tasks:
Tom to send minutes round from last meeting.
Jonny to post these and last meeting's minutes on website, as well as adding "Re-introduction of Mars Bars and crisps to the school tuck shops", or words to that effect, to our list of recent achievements..
Chris to organise menu changes for tea after sports fixtures.
Barr to chase up Mr Imrie about clocks in the changing rooms - also, ask about fixing the drinking fountain that broke.
Gonzalo to find out if there has already been a Friday 4th prefect assembly on the Student Council, and if there hasn't been, to ensure that one takes place.
Everyone to promote the Student Council within their tutor sets, focusing especially on the younger members. Explain what we do, what we stand for, and how they can talk to us etc.
Issues pending:
The introduction of water taps on Big Side.
The incorporation of younger boys into the Student Council, or the possible introduction of student bodies accessible to the 4th and 5th forms, so that they may express their views and be heard, as there are fears that younger students may find the current 'Soapbox' scheme intimidating.
