Student Council Minutes
Catering Committee Report
Charlie Fink acted as a Student Council presence on the recent catering committee meeting. The committee is currently considering replacing some water fountains with water coolers. As well as this, paninis will be made a regular fixture at lunch, chicken sandwiches will be sold in the tuck shop, BLTs will be introduced to the senior tuck shop and there will be more themed lunches. The committee has been considering selling more healthy alternatives in the tuck shop and vending machines, but doubts its profitability (as previous attempts have always failed). Smoothies may also be making an appearance in the tuck shop...
Table Football
The table football machine has been cleaned, and the balls have been wiped. Mr O'Keefe is looking into the spring situation.
Patball
The trellis still stands. Paulines are still outraged.
Internet Translation Services
At the moment, some internet translation services and language dictionaries are blocked by the school server. The Council fails to understand the reasoning behind this, as the ICT staff would have difficulty in blocking every single translation service on the internet, and even a partial ban of these websites will not stop Paulines from cheating in their work, if they are so inclined.
Tomlinson Report
Mr Woodruff has asked the Council for their ideas on the Tomlinson interim report, which focuses on the future of education for 14-19 year olds. Charlie Thompson is looking into this.
