Minutes 7/12/11

Absent: Many of the L8th were absent owing to a Physics Trip, and many of the U8th were absent due to Oxbridge interviews.

Nothing to report from meeting with HM

This Week:

• Showers - it was proposed that more people would use the showers in the changing rooms if there were locks on them. This has apparently been discussed before. There are locks on the toilets, so why not on the showers? Perhaps we should put them back on - Mr. Imrie to be spoken to.
• Main school car park at night time - a lot darker than before, lights around the school are generally weaker. This could be resolved fairly quickly, so will be looked into in the near future.
• Student Council dinner for next term is definitely confirmed.
• The Council has noticed that many don't know what we really do, or rather what happens, so we have decided that a picture of the council would be a good idea, on the main intranet page. General updates on the main page will take place, such as aims, achievements etc. There will also be contact information, and a school-wide e-mail will be sent asking for suggestions at the beginning of term. Not much to discuss this week, many understandable absences.
