Absent: Marcus, Thomas, Ben (Debating Tournament)

The Chairman had no meeting with the HM yesterday, as it is the first full week back at school.

This Week:

• Broken water fountain in Sports Complex - Ed to speak to Mr. Imrie - to the help desk.
• The subject of pads of paper came up, and how there have been talks of Seniors wanting more than the 2 pads of paper per year free. It was generally agreed however that if one wants more, one can just dip into the pot and spend - it becomes too environmentally detrimental otherwise.
• The subject of Friday detentions came up, and it was put forward that perhaps having to spend an hour after school on a Friday might be too harsh, particularly if, being a Junior, one receives a detention for merely talking in class. It is however meant to be a deterrent, and it was firmly stated that the discipline system works quite well here. Perhaps there should be more gradiant in the punishments of certain, although the discipline system is proper, and works tremendously well.
• Student Council Dinner - confirmed date: Second last Tuesday of term - 13th March.
• Council photo - will be taken, team photo will be up soon.
• Common room - photocopier, there's no plug - matter for speaking to Mr. Imrie.
