Recap. of last week from Ed:
- Meeting with HM - nothing of consequence to report.
This Week:
- Lunch Hall business - after 2:00pm, apparently there has been a serving of yesterday's food, and after 2:10pm, the ctaering staff were not cleaning up used trays. This is probably because they had run out of food, and the machinery of cleaning up was broken.
- Library matters - the bags rule was brought up again, and it was deemed fair enough; it is a little like the Parking situation. If we were to find a reason for the legislation, then that might make it easier to bear.
- Sudexo - the tuck shop is apparently making a lot of profit, and yet the prices are still very high. Are they just pocketing the profit, or is there a concrete reason for things still being expensive. The Chairman to clarify the increasing prices vs. prices issue. The prospect of comparing with other schools was discussed, but it would be too time consuming.
- Late System - the process of giving a reason for lates was discussed, and how the clarification sheet often comes late. It was agreed that the sheets generally come on time, and it is often the fault of the tutees who fail to fill it in. For late passes, see Mr. King.
- An alternative prospectus written by the students was discussed, but we need to know more about it to explore. Mashhood to find out about arranging a comittee.
Summary for 'This Week':
- Lunch Hall problems (if any) are being discussed, although if one does have problems, e-mail the Chairman.
- Make sure that if a late does arise, the correct administration process is followed - the sheets generally come on time.
